In a joint move by the UK and US governments, new legislation has been put in place to make military aircraft safer and more reliable. In the recent wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, many planes and helicopters displayed serious weaknesses and even cost the lives of soldiers due to their malfunctioning. Both governments have carried out a full review of all the vehicles and have come up with a new set of rules to influence how they are built.Below are details of parts of the new legislation

I do think that the Americans generally are extremely over the top and the Obamas inaugural ball was no exception.
Yes Michelle Obama the new first lady looked stunning at the ball and it was all down to the amazing Grecian gown she was wearing which looked as though it had been designed for fairytale castle weddings It was designed by a young 26 year old up and coming Taiwanese US clothes designer who actually sewed the dress all by himself. Although this is a shocking and bold title it does happen every single day across the world and it certainly deserves a place on one of most sickening things you can do to anyone. Firemen and women are out there everyday fighting to save lives, stop huge forest fires and what do they get in return, abuse both verbal and physical by local gangs who think it is amusing. Of course the first point to make is that if you do work forthe emergency services respect and a pat on the back is in order. You do a lot for this country, pushing your limits to stop crimes, save lives and help the community.

Barack Obama’s successful advertising campaign in the US presidential election has scooped a number of awards at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Awards. Advertising agency Droga5 won the Titanium prize for presenting an idea that is provocative, challenges assumptions and points to a new direction for The Great Schlep campaign featuring Sarah Silverman intended to boost support for Obama amongst Jewish voters. In addition to a video where Silverman urged young “Jewish grandchildren” to travel to ’swing state’ Florida and persuade their grandparents to vote Obama, the campaign also included an interactive website.
